It's my immense pleasure to write about what I feel worthy to share with my es- teemed parents and well-wishers. As a layman, I am greatly concern about the present system of education which fails to cater the basic notion and purpose of imparting edu- cation. As Emerson rightly said, "Education is the movement from darkness to light". This means education prepares the life of a person to adjust and face with all trials and temptations, difficulties and disappointment. So education should be an all round-devel- opment and be able to answer the questions about life - What is life all about? Is it really worthwhile to try to lead a good life?

A successful and happy life is possible only when we are able to think about and know ourselves - Who we are? Why we are here? How should we live? To answer and overcome all these we need dedication, benevolence, devotion and inspiration from the teachers. Besides, the teaching-learning process should be child-centric and should be able to bring out the great hidden talents of the pupils.

The inception of Queen's Gate Public School is solely for moulding the life of each and every child into a meaningful one and I can proudly say, "Life is what we make it". This institute is just at its nascent stage and still has miles to go in order to fulfil our Motto: "Arise & Shine"
